The Fiat Topolino is a compact electric city car with a maximum speed of 45 km/h. Thanks to its unique appearance and open character, it provides a special driving experience that perfectly suits a relaxed day out.
Yes. You need at least a valid AM licence (moped licence). Of course you can also drive with a valid car licence (B).
The driver must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving licence. Additional age requirements may apply depending on the insurance.
The Topolino has a maximum speed of 45 km/h. MellowMiles is all about relaxed enjoyment of the surroundings. The journey is part of the experience.
The range is approximately 75 kilometres under normal conditions. This is more than sufficient for all MellowMiles routes.
No, if you follow one of our routes you don't need to charge along the way. You receive the Topolino fully charged and the range is more than sufficient for all DolceDrive routes.
Note: if the vehicle stops because the battery is empty, retrieval costs of €250 will be deducted from the deposit.
You drive on normal public roads. Not permitted:
When booking, you choose which of our routes you will drive. Every package includes, free of charge, one of our carefully curated routes past the most beautiful spots in Limburg, so you can be sure you won't miss anything and will be back on time. Driving freely outside the route is not possible.

Our Topolinos are located at several addresses in the region. That makes it easy to depart close to your preferred route. The departure point depends on the route you choose, which you will see during the booking process.
The Topolino has room for two people.
Yes. For every reservation we require a deposit of €250. This can be a reservation on your credit card, where nothing is charged, or a payment via iDEAL. After the rental we inspect the car. If everything is in order, the reservation on your credit card is released immediately or the iDEAL payment is refunded within 5 business days.
Yes. All vehicles are insured in accordance with the applicable conditions. The excess and insurance conditions are clearly communicated in advance.
Always report damage immediately to MellowMiles. Depending on the situation and insurance conditions, part of the deposit may be withheld or the excess may apply.
Contact MellowMiles immediately. We will arrange suitable support so you can continue your day as best as possible.
Unfortunately pets are not permitted in the Topolino. This applies without exception, due to possible damage to the interior and allergic reactions in subsequent guests.
Yes. We do ask you to treat the vehicle with care and avoid any soiling.
No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in our vehicles.
The Topolino can be used in normal Dutch weather. In exceptional weather conditions MellowMiles may decide to move a reservation free of charge.
Yes. Gift vouchers are available and make an original gift for couples, friends, family members and colleagues.
Please do. Tag us on Instagram (@mellowmilesnl) so we can enjoy your adventure too. In all modesty: we're pretty good at fun routes and Topolinos, but not quite so good at social media yet. Your photos and videos help us a lot.
No small print. Just clear agreements so you can enjoy without worry.

It is not permitted to have the vehicle driven by persons not listed on the rental agreement.
Deposit: €250, via a reservation on your credit card or a payment via iDEAL. After inspection we release the deposit (credit card) or refund it within 5 business days (iDEAL), provided:
MellowMiles has the right to offset outstanding costs against the deposit.
Permitted only: public road, within the Netherlands, recreational use.
Not permitted:
Any damage, however small, must be reported immediately. The renter remains liable for the excess. In case of intentional damage or gross negligence, the full damage may be recovered.
In case of theft, immediately contact the police and inform MellowMiles. In case of loss of keys, documents or accessories, the actual replacement costs will be charged.
All traffic fines, parking fines, tolls and other costs during the rental period are for the account of the renter. Administration costs of €15 per fine may be charged.
The vehicle must be returned no later than the agreed time. For overtime: €50 per commenced hour.
Normal soiling is included. In case of exceptional soiling, smoke odour or damage to the interior, additional cleaning costs may be charged.
The renter receives the vehicle fully charged. For all DolceDrive routes the range is more than sufficient.
If the vehicle stops because the battery is empty, retrieval costs of €250 will be deducted from the deposit.
In case of breakdown, contact MellowMiles immediately. Repairs may only be carried out with permission from MellowMiles.
MellowMiles is not liable for loss of personal belongings, consequential damage or delays due to breakdown, traffic, weather conditions or force majeure. Liability is limited to the rental amount paid.

What I find so special about Noord-Limburg is the variety: one moment you're in a lively city centre, the next you're driving along the Maas or through the woods. That love for the region is the foundation of MellowMiles.
I take care of the day-to-day operations, come up with new concepts and plan routes past the places I love most. My husband Lucien helps with the technology and the website.
